Last week the City of Redondo Beach released a second market study about The Waterfront project. Completed by the consulting firm AECOM, this impartial and independent study evaluated a number of different factors surrounding The Waterfront’s market performance, including comparable developments of similar quality and size as well as the proposed amount of square footage and mix of uses, in order to determine whether the completed project would perform well in the market.

What an action-packed, sports-filled weekend we just had! Not only was itSuper Bowl Sunday, but Sunday morning was the 37th annual Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K/5K/Walk. So before hitting the couch and eating those infamous Super Bowl snacks, more than 8000 of us got up early, got active and had a terrific time down at the waterfront on a perfect Sunday morning—no rain this year!

One of our favorite gems the Paddle Ho­use, which recently opened in a beautifully renovated space along the International Boardwalk and is always on the hunt for a new twist on the art of Stand Up Paddling and fun on the ocean.

One of our favorite aspects of the #RBWaterfront is all of the area’s unique local restaurants and businesses, so we could not have been more excited to sample food and try out activities from more than fifty of these great establishments while raising awareness for breast cancer at this year’s Taste of the Waterfront and Pier.
